The second in the series, of two, and again I got obsessed with the top to the point that this portrait took far too long to paint with many, many corrections.

Having looked at the original for some time I decided to repaint the rose as I felt it was too dark.

I quite like the composition of this but got completley distracted by the stripes on the top hence the title.
