Mirror

Had this idea of an image behind an eroded mirror. So I picked up a cheap mirror in a charity shop and eroded and aged the back. Then I painted a small oil portrait and placed it behind. Everything was going well until I started to fit it together again. On tightening the holding screw I heard a crack and you can see the result. 
Still I quite like the idea so I may go further with this.
